[my poem]Message in a bottle
Message in a bottle
For Emerson
The sands of time will be swept away
Just like how pages of a book yellow away
The ink of words life can soon be over
But the message would be left there to hover
Four different colours of philosophy
Small paper boats of discovery
Intermingling of individuals' glory
Yet basic elements present their own jeopardy
The scent of the buried secret air
Preserves the precious moment with care
So that the spell can bind and blind
But the fragrance won't always be so kind
The bottle seeks to keep the memory
To leave out those of despondency
Filled to brim with hopes and dreams
Yet the tempest of outer realm is unforeseen
The prose of poetry is of purity
The boats are to tell of the hopeful journey
The concealed air is for clarity
The bottle contains what we need in uncertainty
But the feeling there is to last for eternity
By yours truly
