Had a funny dinner today..actually all my dinners are funny.. haha my family is hilarious.. its the only time where we laugh our guts out..and mum was hahah trying not to break out into laughter when alex impersonated a nasal voice and a bimbo voice.. haha! dad being the usual comedian.. let me illustrate something
Alex: My AEP teacher is so boring! I mean she looks so deadpan.. and yeah, she is so boring dead-looking argh!

And I just watched Big Fish... funny how Love is?.. you see this guy is free..he goes ard..he gets up and he leaves whenever he wants..hes free to do his choice.. He finds the girl of his dreams...the one he is destined to marry and works off three years of his life for her... and yep gets her.. AND finds that marriage life is boring.. hmz.. how come Love makes fools of us all? And we have discussed what makes us let go of our ideals, our beliefs and our dreams.. its is Love..
I feel tt I have changed ever since entering a rs.. I'm less sarcastic.. which I nv knew until Char said Victoria.. you are less sarcastic.. its like anything you say doesn't have the sarcastic twinge anymore.. I replied.. that he doesn't like me to be sarcastic.. which wy said was for the best.. hahah...
Well I wanted to start with how russell and I ended up together... A Guy from 05 a Fmath class.. and where fmath classes dun mix with the rest..A girl from 15..econ phy chem.. A First aider.. a Councillor.. how can this two whose worlds are far apart come together? just to be sure...we are both innocent..we din do anything that would or did ruin our integrity... but just listen...this keyboard brings back poignant memories..
I first knew Russell existed was because I liked homework and because I liked homework I must observe his class which i did...to find out what sort of frens he has.. and I first noticed Russell as the prominant 05..Godfather then Jason Goh.. haha.. Johnson and Brig not counted lah =P... and then Claire told me abt this mysterious Russell who liked her.. =) which I took a tremendous interest in.. it is 05 after all... and I still rmbed the day she told me.. I went with her for SC dinner after inter-hse sports..and how we discussed the scandal and took delights and laughing at it..
Well, I never got introduced to Russell..nv before.. haha.. we were just forced into each other's company.. he jioed claire.. I, well, hung abt homework..and yes, alot of things happened for Claire and Russell.. as in he asked her go Daniel Chan concert with him..she gave him her fried rice..and yes, they went out together before.. while poor me.. just sat there studying like for eternity.. invisible to homework.. =( But I did help him with Claire.. he also has to admit tt fact... esp for the Daniel Chan one..cos after tt, he got bolder..while Claire gave him a chance..JOhnson worked up a scandal with Charlotte while my scandal with WY was flourishing.. hmz..
BUt its was Johnson who laid the foundations..cos both of us admit it was thru MSN tt we actually knew each other better.. SO on 12 Sept 2003 Johnson made both of us tok over mSN cos Russell wanted to ask me abt Claire.. and thru MSN under Claire's wishes..(don't kill me russell) I was asked to drop subtle hints to him that er..she dun think they are compatiable..which I did try but Russell yeah din read.. u can ask claire on this fact.. anyway yeah thru tt convo and my issued command we toked.. alot..21st Sept was our ice-breaking convo with philosophy and ambitions..and consequently yep, we even toked till 4am once..
But MSN was all a facade or was it sch? For sch he still went after Claire.. altho she said she dun think they will work out..while I well waited? for homework.. but anyway.. he said the 4am convo was the breaking revalation for him.. that he was interested in me.. but that was all.. I suspect he was still trying to get over Claire.. Promos came and went.. which he said he only started thinking abt me more seriously after promos.. and how he was afraid he would appear buaya and how it would seem if I ended up with him.. like I stole my good fren's guy?
Well, I believed he liked Claire... up to the moment when he confessed.. but thats a different story to tell a different time..
Yes, so I go abt thinking and believing he likes Claire.. and honestly I din realli care cos I was just too well thinking too much of homework to care.. and my emotions were turned topsy-turvy..so I din realli care abt Claire and Russell... and after promos..I was thinking if I shld give up homework.. I did like him alot..but yeah, it was not going to work out...If you read all my prev blog entries on homework... u would realise how much I did like him.. but erm yeah, it wasn't going to work out..
Besides, I toked abt RUssell alot to ACUTE.. cos yeah, keep them updated on Claire and to keep my mind off homework.. so until Marilyn asked.. Victoria will you ever like russell? I was no lah! Of course not! Differences attract! Not similarities... and I had this inkling tt 05 thot I liked Russell or vice versa.. so I told Claire.. and she said Good what! You two so english..should be a couple which I used the same excuse as with Marilyn.. similarities dun work out.. hahah differences do(haha russell right? I'm sorry..)
And surprisingly, Chris said...Russell when you stand next to Claire you all don't pei..you pei more with Victoria.. which Russell responded with a WHAT!!?!?!
Anyway came soccer with 2603 and yeah.. everything.. I rmbed my first time playing soccer with 2603..and then I went to talk to Russell who was sleeping on the benches.. yupz.. how he started when he woke up and realised it was me.. and er how he scrambled to regain his sanity..and we did have a nice talk..hahah he said he was glad.. I was glad to find tedium amidst the councillors running abt preparing for OPEN HOUSE...so in actual fact I was slacking.. and all the days 2603 battled out with 0503 on the soccer pitch..amazing..hahah and on the first match I had to run to council room and get masking tape for Russell cos his soles fell apart..and I said something like I just dun want 05 to think I have a scandal with you and he said am I so revolting...?
Open House.. another event tt occurred.. and I brought some juniors to look ard..Joanne(Alex's senior capt:: The one from Marilyn's CULO) yeah and her frenz.. and brought them across first aid and said heres Russell.. pls show them something abt first aid.. and he said something like oh this is the first aid booth..with a technique book...hahah before he said victoria what do u expect me to say??? I said anything? just sell ur booth..and he said here plasters.. Joanne and the rest edged as far away as possible while Russell said hey hey! Why r u running away from me?... then we moved to AJE where Russell said PAK PAK they bully me.. and something abt u must gif them hell in AJE? hahaha...I told the IJ Girls.. they are Cat high and they all nodded their heads.. like in perfect understanding of this wierd male behaviour...
And I got alot of info for claire on russell from kelvin Chew.. and I rmbed how much I realised Russell was like me and i wanted to ask him to be my kor.. and kelvin said..Russell would say why do you want the slackiest person alive on this earth to be your kor!?!??! I believe Kelvin.. and time came to prove tt kelvin was right...
Funny how Life leads you in round-abouts.. 13October? he asked Claire out again to play pool after promos..okay that isn't right..my dates are horribly mixed up..pls excuse me..and so of course I still believe more fervently he liked Claire.. alot..
Well for me..still deciding if I shuld give up homework...tho on the last day of sch, I was thinking to myself...what present shuld I get for homework? SHuld I even get him one? His birthday is coming.. and I was getting exasperated.. then a thought flashed in my mind.. so sad I won't be able to see russell for the whole hols..no more fun convo and no more soccer.. and then the thought was gone..strange how these things come back to us now..
We still talked alot online...not smsing for us cos simply he din have a phone and promised himself till the day he got a gf, then he will get a hp but i suspect its just the way of remaining uncontactable.. anywayz, rmb he only thot abt me more deeply after promos? Well, apparently he said tt I was very confusing one minute I said I'm gifing up homework and hes like good and the next min.. I say I still like him..and he goes..huh? And he said he dropped hints like letting go off Claire.. erm knowing me I'm too blur to pick out lahz..and hahah how many times do i repeat..
But he liked Claire and that was final. He knew I liked homework and thats final.
Isn't it wierd how Life creeps up on us?
And on 8 nov 2003.. when my mum mentioned over dinner how russell is better looking to wy ( no offense WEIYANG! SERIOUSLY!) and I thot abt it and pondered thinking what is it like to like russell? And I came home and saw him online and told him this.. well not str lah...i rmbed toking to him abt homework..then had to go toilet.. then filled with the sudden guts only a toilet can inspire.. I typed hey my frenz have been asking if I will ever like you?... and went on...
I am slow..WOLS.. anyone who saw that convo will tell you..but I only asked that question in jest..who would have thot it turned out for real? A word in jest...and up to the final moment I thot he liked Claire until when he confessed I said er are you deluding yourself? Well... thats me.. and thats mostly how we started.. alot more happened but I can't realli rmb..Thats my version with some snippets of his...And so its all my fault if ACUTE thot russell was buaya cos before that I kept harping on the fact tt Russell liked Claire even a few days before 8 nov.. altho a time when claire cried and I got russell to go comfort her, ACUTE said tt he din look quite happy to leave his soccer match and acted more of a fren rather than someone who likes her.. but I fervently defended Russell stating examples how much he still likes her.. I never knew how wrong I was..and how Right ACUTE was..
But all I know.. is don't go looking for Love.. for Love will come looking for you so be prepared!
