The Funeral of Pope John Paul the Second

Pope John Paul the 2nd was buried today. His funeral was 10am (4pm Singapore time) and you could just see the throngs celebrating the mass in St Peter's Square.

Hmz.. there was alot of cardinals. They all had to kiss the altar table. But the mass was beautiful.

At the end of it, people were cheering Goodbye bravo.. while clapping their hands and shouting, waving their flags of different countries and holding banners. There were many youths out there and I bet Pope John Paul up in heaven would be glad to know cos he loves the young people so much. P/s I am a youth.. =)

I kind of felt very sad and cried again. It was just too beautiful. Sad to know we won't see him again, but glad to know he is in Heaven.

There were all sorts of dignitaries.. from Palestine, Israel, America, England, poland, UN Secretary...etc.. lots of high-ranking people. Which brings me to a point, do u think u would see Singapore there? makes me wanna laugh how Singapore always strives to be in the limelight...but its actually so small and puny. But Singapore has an inflated ego. Well, of course, it won't be invited to a global celebration of like the Pope's funeral. Cos its not worth. On Vatican's side of course.

Btw, the head of the Anglican Church: Archbishop of Canterbury came down to represent the Anglicans.. so poor prince Charles had to delay his wedding. It serves the cad right. He waited for many years...he can wait somemore.

Pope John Paul the 2nd... YOU RULE! WE WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU!

Eternal peace grant upon him oh Lord
And let perpetual light shine upon him
May he rest in peace
Amen
